              Ah, The Holidays—the most magical time of the year when the house smells like cinnamon candles (and slightly burnt cookies), the kids are excited, Holiday Carols are playing and moms everywhere are trying to buy the perfect gifts while juggling 1,000 other holiday tasks. As a mom who’s learned the fine art of multitasking—wrapping presents while refereeing sibling spats—I’ve curated a list of tech gifts to win you major holiday points. These aren’t just gadgets; they’re lifesavers, joy-bringers, and maybe, just maybe, distractions to keep everyone occupied long enough for me to drink my coffee hot. These will even be great ideas for yourself. Wink -wink!

10) The Smart Fitness Tracker

          As an adult, who doesn’t want a gadget that tells you you’re not walking enough,  Fitness trackers are perfect for the health-conscious person in your life—or the one who keeps saying they’ll “start Monday.” These sleek devices do more than count steps; they track sleep, stress, and hydration. For teens this is great. Imagine your teenager realizing they only walked 1,000 steps because their phone and snack stash were three feet apart. Priceless. For the little one. My favorite is The Gizmo. Not only does it have GPS, which is a huge bonus, but they will ask to wear it for interactive gaming. Now the elementary-aged I found most didn’t want to wear until their friends had one too. The middle and high school. Depending on your child’s preference and compatibility with their phones.  You can get an older Apple Watch or the Samsung Galaxy Watches. However, The Fitbit Charge 6 makes tracking health metrics and its not so large like the others making it easy to figure out who is sneaking Christmas cookies.

Now they argue over whose turn and I’m gonna share a secret. I battle for it too. The workout programs rock and then I have a stationary bike. The scenic trips I take…just wow. I forget sometimes I’m even working out. The Meta Quest 3 is so immersive, even you might beg for a turn.

For when you want to know who really ate Santa’s cookies. I need it to confirm whether the dog or my youngest knocked over the Christmas tree. I am so in love with this. I feel safer, plus I have a few funny moments for myself. No,  they aren’t on YouTube.
